Children are not good at expressing their emotional problems in words. Parents do not understand when they encounter emotional distress.

Feeling stress is a normal reaction to the pressures in daily life. If the stress level interferes one’s functionality and productivity, this would be concerning. Ignoring emotional concerns makes us susceptible to distress, causing a constant state of negativity, helplessness, frustrations and/or feeling depressed. These emotional states, in turn, affect our family and friends, leaving them worry about us.
