I like the analogies Dr Vinci Cheung gave to my panic attacks. Through her guidance, I learned to apply a few strategies in face of my intense panic attacks. I was able to manage my panic and anxiety quite soon in the first 2 sessions. We then used a few more sessions to work on the background anxiety level by looking into my generalized worries and concerns. Once I became no longer affected by the panic attacks as I was able to apply the relevant strategies, these panic attacks come back less and less in frequency and intensity. In less than a month of therapy, I seldom experience these attacks.
